Loretta Kreet | Founder of Peachester Homestead
Loretta Kreet is the heart behind Peachester Homestead, a family property that has been cherished for more than 35 years. Passionate about community, sustainability, and preserving traditional skills, she created Peachester Homestead as a place where people can come together, learn from one another, and celebrate simple, meaningful living.
What began as a desire to share her family’s farm has grown into a welcoming community centred around connection, creativity, and self-sufficiency. Whether it’s gathering around food, exploring arts and crafts, tending a garden, learning new skills, or embracing a slower and more sustainable way of life, Loretta believes that some of life’s best moments are the ones shared with others.
Through workshops, events, and everyday life on the homestead, Loretta enjoys bringing people together to exchange knowledge, inspire creativity, and build lasting friendships. She is particularly passionate about gardening, sustainable living, handmade crafts, and creating opportunities for people to reconnect with both nature and their local community.
At its core, Peachester Homestead is about opening the farm gates and sharing a way of life—one where family, friends, creativity, and community are always welcome.
“The best things we grow aren’t always in the garden. Sometimes they’re friendships, skills, memories, and a sense of belonging.” — Loretta Kreet
